Gotcha.
A playful little growl emitted from Athos as he stared back at Corriin from the corner of his eyes, snorting at the silliness of it all. "True, true.." He said thoughtfully as a smirk began to form on his dark face. "Except, you would have to catch me first!" As soon as he finished his statement the male would spring upwards onto his paws, making an attempt to actually slip himself out from underneath the other canine to escape. Athos would then try to bolt his way around towards one of the shrubs, laying on his forelimbs in a playful crouch as his tail wagged back and forth. "I don't think you can keep up, can ya? huh?" He teased, eyes wide with interest and excitement.

A shocked expression came upon the fae's face as the male slipped out from under her, making her quickly dart up and follow him out. "I don't think I can catch you, but I can sure try and keep up!" She exclaimed. She chased him around the nearby area for some time, growing rather tired as the distance between then only increased. She knew that she'd either have to give up or fool him into stopping, so she'd try the latter. She waited for the right opportunity and then caused herself to trip over a fallen tree branch, letting out a rather loud yelp. Either he would get worried and turn back for her, or she'd have to give up the chase.

With his tongue lolling out the side of his parted jaws, the Fleet had managed to keep distance between himself and Corr. A smug expression had appeared on his face as he seemed to be getting away. The sudden yelp behind him however, made the wolf skid to a stop and looked back with an alarmed expression. "Oh!" Athos gasped, making his swift return to aid his pack-mate. "Are you okay? Sorry I ran so fast," He murmured apologetically as he came to the she-wolf's side. Did she hurt herself? Twist a foot? Both of his brows shot upwards with worry as he lowered his snout towards the others figure, taking a few cautious sniffs without even suspecting anything remotely suspicious.

Corriin feigned a pained expression as she noticed Athos over her, almost pouting a bit at first. "Y-yeah, I'm fine..." Suddenly, she licked his nose as to take him by surprise before quickly wrapping her paws around his neck as best she could, attempting to hold him there. "Caught you." She hummed, a smug expression on her face. (s)

The canine flinched a bit in surprise, wriggling his nose from the lick and having a somewhat confused look about him as she wrapped her paws around him. Then, it dropped into one that lacked amusement. Athos snorted and gave a soft sigh; It had been a trick all along! Rolling his eyes at how he'd been fooled easily, he decided to simply plop down onto his belly, possibly keeping the other wolf trapped beneath him. "Oh harr harr harr," He rolled his eyes, tail wagging gently behind himself. "Totally unfair." Athos then pouted, puckering out his lower lip.

"Gah!" She exclaimed as he laid down onto her, flailing her legs near his neck for a moment before giving up and remaining still. "You big dummy, you're squishing me." She pouted, not able to get out from under him. Her curled tail wagged and rubbed against the dirt, rather enjoying herself despite being pinned under her friend. She hadn't gotten this much exercise or had this much fun at one time since she was a pup. (kinda short, getting writer's block)
